2nd Joint MOMbrane-WIS Meeting

Many thanks to Doron Rapaport and Julia Fitzgerald for inviting us to the MOMbrane Retreat 2026 in Ellwangen. Together with members of the RTG 2364 “The multifaceted functions and dynamics of the mitochondrial outer membrane (MOM)” and colleagues from Germany and the Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel), we discussed recent advances and emerging ideas in mitochondria research in a highly interactive and stimulating environment. Nazife contributed to the meeting with a talk presenting our current work on PINK1 activation and mitophagy regulation. It was a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with the MOMbrane community and to learn about the exciting research within the RTG 2364.
