Marian Nicola
Marian completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, where she built a strong foundation in the life sciences, and continued there for her Master’s degree, focusing on DNA damage, cancer research, and double-strand break repair. She then worked four years in industry as part of a research and development team, gaining extensive practical and scientific experience. In March 2026, she joined the Bremm Lab as a PhD student, studying how ubiquitin signaling controls selective autophagy and supports cellular health.
